Thank You Veterans...

Goodmorning Friends...

It's hard to believe that we are already at Veteran's Day this November. Interestingly enough I just finished a Reader's Digest Condensed Book featuring "The Simple Truth". This fast paced action story happens to be about the military, a wrongly accused convict, a decorated war veteran, lawyers and the Supreme Court. Very fitting for Veteran's Day.

I am not a supporter of war and wish we didn't have to go that route...but sometimes war is just our reality. I am grateful that we have such wonderful courageous men and women who go into war or just into the military to defend and protect our country. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

An Old Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind always be at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

and rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Many blessings to you all today....

I agree no wars would be best -- very few need to be engaged in, really -- but I support our military personnel, too. Sometimes conflict is unavoidable and these individuals are ready to fight for freedom...
